Alexander Pope is trying to say that if your part is well done, life takes it course and gives you that honor. It is quite wonderful because it is like a reward to hard work. It is actually a fair thing in life since certain people behave. It is simple, the most behaved person gets what they deserve. Those people are truly honored. Choosing the right, is the first step into recieving that honor. A person can't get the honor if they do not know how to respect others, or do what they are asked. Secondly, a person must push themselves. That means the person must go the extra mile. They must push themselves a little foward and put in their best efforts. As a result they are rewarded. I myself, can relate to this, because currently I'm pushing my limits in a good way. In my goals journal I wanted to earn straight A's or a gpa of 4.0. I had acted really well and I gotten further. I just need to turn two B's into A's and I'm acting well and doing what I'm asked. In know time, I will accomplish this goal, and I know what is to come when I achieve this. After my goal is to be in Principal's Honor Roll. I like this quote a lot because it keeps me motivated. Personally, I feel like some people don't do their part, and as a result they recieve nothing. Perhaps the consequences of not doing anything, but overall no honor is given. Only the best works and efforts get the recignition of honor.
