Athletic Trainer
Duties and Responsibilities: Athletic trainers are people who professionalize in health care, who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and medical conditions. These people are certified health professionals who are in sports field ready to help.
Salary: $42,690
Education: In order to be an athletic trainer, you are required to have a degree from an accredited professional level education program. Then you wait, and pass the Board of Certification examination. You have to have a license in order to practice, or a registration, but the state varies. It all depends on the state.
Reflection: I wouldn’t want to be an athletic trainer because, I don’t like sports and because I really don’t see myself working in the medical field.
