‘’I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating.” Sophocles

Sophocles has said something so splendid. This statement should prove that people should do any situation fairly. In life there is no shortcut, and if there is it is rather a dead end. When a person cheats, they automatically prove they are a loser. Cheaters tend to feel insecure or self-conscious about what they do. Cheaters as a result stop trying, and focus on ways to get to the top without having difficulty or struggles. This does not show good character as a result. These cheaters have passed a test unfairly, by looking up or sneaking in the answers. These cheaters win medals and awards for boosting their ability. It certainly isn’t fair for those who are trying because those are the winners putting the effort in. Cheaters don’t bother putting in effort, because they are either lazy or they can figure things out. It wouldn’t feel so great knowing you cheated and that’s how you got this award. It wouldn’t feel so great if an A is inputted into the computer knowing, you found answers online. Guilt kicks in, and some people just lose it. However, not all people are like that. They get away with it, but when the day Jesus comes they shall be judged and face consequences. Cheating is such a nasty sin and no one should do it. Failing with honor shows true character, since they show pride. Coming so far, or doing as much as possible shows good character. People that don’t take shortcuts, will always feel proud on the effort they put, and how far they had come.
