You then need to complete an extra of three years to finish training in newborn intesive care. As soon as those three years are over, you can get a certification from the American Board of Pedriatics and by the Sub-board of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. Reflection:
I would like to be a neonatologist because my goal in life is to help someone, more specifally a baby. No baby needs to suffer through a lot and I want to help those babies in need. It is actually my second choice, behind a Cardiologist. I can relate to this because my brother wasn't born properly and a neonatologist saved his life. Maybe that's what I want to do, save innocent lives.
