Volunteer Oppotunities

     People can make a difference and volunteer to be part of somethng. Today I was told to look up a medical health related volunteer oppurtunities. I find vetinary volunteer very interesting because, it's basically providing good health for dogs and cats. Several oppurtunities for the animals, are good relationships with people. It also looks good on a college application. A person can interact with either a dog or a cat. Sometimes a person can foster a dog or a cat who's been through rouch times in their lives. Other times a person can go volunteer at an adoption store. They get to organize medical supplies, take care of newborn kittens and puppies, help them find a home, and socialize with any animal. To volunteer in the veterinary field, there are some requirements. The person must commit to a minimum of 3 months of service, must be at age of +14 or higher, contribute at least 8 hours of service per month, and attend at least one orrientation. Locations were a person can apply are Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Westchester, West Hollywood, Brentwood, and Bernice. In my opinion, I will actually volunteer at some point. I want to make a different in animals lives. Some animals don't get the support they need, and I am willing to foster a dog, volunteer at vets, and volunteer at adoptions, over the summer.
